My willow tree needs an annual haircut and my son and I had an idea that we could use the sticks to make "Frosty", who lives outside our deck all year round.
I trained a wild Pheasant, which we named Phillip, to come and visit our garden every morning to feed. Guest starring Fannie, the Brave, who makes a late appearance.
People don't realise that 30m pheasants are reared in the UK each year and have a life expectancy of under one year. I like to help these beautiful birds to enjoy their time here!
Version 2 of my active desk design, which I use in my home office.

A short clip from one of our annual village jazz concernts. This classic track is Ain't Misbehavin' with Barry Bassett on Sax, Robin Vesma on Bass, Simon Payne on drums and Graham Beveridge on keyboard.
A very early showreel of early Videomania in the 1980s. Shot and edited by Jeff Bassett.

This was one of the most defining moments of my university! The year was 1987, and my goal was to raise money for charity.
We had secured already corporate sponsorship of condoms, custard powder and found an old bath, so it seemed logical to create a fun sports day based around custard-filled condoms, inspired by the 1980s family gameshow, It's a Knockout! Watch what happened here. (At the end, you will see what happened to me too!)
Here is a link to my free audiobook with images from my story. I have chosen to upload this for free, so if you enjoy it, please consider making a donation to the mine clearing charity, MAG
My early attempts at recording my audiobook from my desk were poor but several attempts later, this was my final version.
